Rainer Forst ist ein deutscher Politikwissenschaftler und Philosoph. Er ist Professor für Politische Theorie und Philosophie am Institut für Politikwissenschaft sowie am Institut für Philosophie der Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind politische Theorie, praktische Philosophie und Kritische Theorie.
