Abdurrahman Sharafkandi, known by his pen name Hazhar or Hajar, was a renowned Kurdish writer, poet, lexicographer, linguist, and translator, from Iran. Some sources of Sharafkandi birthplace have been mentioned in the village of Sharafkand, which is a district of Bukan.
