Ashalchi Oki is the literary pseudonym of the first Udmurt poetess and writer Akilina Grigoryevna Vekshina who received notability in the twenties. She was also known as an ophthalmologist, front-line doctor, and an honored doctor of the Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
