Ghiyāth ibn Ghawth b. al-Ṣalt b. Ṭāriqa al-Taghlibī, noto anche con lo pseudonimo di al-Akhṭal (in arabo الأخطل), è stato un poeta arabo cristiano.
Della tribù araba dei Banū Taghlib, al-Akhṭal - nato ad al-Ḥīra, o nei pressi di Ruṣāfa - fu un poeta molto reputato, massimamente per la sua satira che egli più volte espresse al servizio dei suoi protettori, gli Omayyadi.
Ghiyath ibn Ghawth ibn al-Salt ibn Tariqa al-Taghlibi commonly known as al-Akhtal, was one of the most famous Arab poets of the Umayyad period. He belonged to the Banu Taghlib tribe, and was, like his fellow-tribesmen, a Christian.
Alaksandar Ćvikievič was a Belarusian politician, historian, jurist, philosopher, and a victim of Stalin's purges. He served as Prime Minister of Belarus in exile for two years, from 23 August 1923, until October 1925. His interest featured philosophy and history. He worked as a jurist and lawyer. He was also a professor at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
Alaksandr Michajławicz Adamowicz, także Aleś Adamowicz – białoruski pisarz oraz historyk literatury. W swej twórczości nawiązywał do tematów z czasów II wojny światowej. Był współautorem scenariusza do filmu fabularnego Idź i patrz (1985) w reżyserii Elema Klimowa, dla którego inspiracją była m.in. jego Chatyńska opowieść ukazująca zagładę Chatynia.
