Būris ['klatka'] (1972), Poligons ['poligon'] (1977), Saknes ['korzenie'] (1982), Slēptuve ['skrytka'] (1986), Sitiens ar telādu ['cios i odbicie'] (1987). Pisze ponadto scenariusze filmowe i opowiadania.
Alberts Bels, oik. Jānis Cīrulis oli latvialainen kirjailija. Bels oli suuntautumassa sirkusuralle, mutta putoaminen trapetsilta muutti suunnan. Hän alkoi kirjoittaa sairaalassa. Häntä on luonnehdittu Latvian ensimmäiseksi modernistiksi ja eksistentialistiksi.
Albertus Magnus oder Albert von Lauingen, Albert von Köln, Doctor Universalis war ein deutscher Gelehrter und Bischof, der wegbereitend für den christlichen Aristotelismus des hohen Mittelalters war. Er lehrte in Köln und Paris. Im Jahr 1622 wurde er selig- und am 16. Dezember 1931 von Papst Pius XI. heiliggesprochen und zum Kirchenlehrer erklärt.
Albertus Magnus, also known as Saint Albert the Great or Albert of Cologne, was a German Dominican friar, philosopher, scientist, and bishop. Later canonized as a Catholic saint, he was known during his lifetime as Doctor universalis and Doctor expertus and, late in his life, the sobriquet Magnus was appended to his name. Scholars such as James A. Weisheipl and Joachim R. Söder have referred to him as the greatest German philosopher and theologian of the Middle Ages. The Catholic Church distinguishes him as one of the 37 Doctors of the Church.

Albery Allson Whitman (May 30, 1851 – June 29, 1901 was an African-American poet, minister and orator. Born into slavery, Whitman became a writer. During his lifetime he was acclaimed as the "Poet Laureate of the Negro Race". He worked as a manual laborer, school teacher, financial agent, fundraiser and pastor. He died in Atlanta in 1901 of pneumonia.
