Terry Southern was an American novelist, essayist, screenwriter, and university lecturer, noted for his distinctive satirical style. Part of the Paris postwar literary movement in the 1950s and a companion to Beat writers in Greenwich Village, Southern was also at the center of Swinging London in the 1960s and helped to change the style and substance of American films in the 1970s. He briefly wrote for Saturday Night Live in the 1980s.
Thaddeus Mason Harris was a Harvard librarian, Unitarian minister and author in the early 19th Century. His most noted book was The Natural History of the Bible first published in Boston in 1793.
Thea Gabriele von Harbou was a German screenwriter, novelist, film director, and actress. She is remembered as the screenwriter of the science fiction film classic Metropolis (1927) and for the 1925 novel on which it was based. von Harbou collaborated as a screenwriter with film director Fritz Lang, her husband, during the period of transition from silent to sound films.

Theodor Gottlieb Hippel, ab 1790 von Hippel war ein deutscher Staatsmann, Schriftsteller und Sozialkritiker der Aufklärung. Er war Mitglied der preußischen Landrechtskommission, Stadtrat, Oberbürgermeister und schließlich Stadtpräsident von Königsberg. Hippel setzte sich für die rechtliche Gleichstellung von Frauen ein. Er war ein Freund Immanuel Kants.
