Torquato Tasso was an Italian poet of the 16th century, known for his 1591 poem Gerusalemme liberata, in which he depicts a highly imaginative version of the combats between Christians and Muslims at the end of the First Crusade, during the Siege of Jerusalem of 1099.
Toru Dutt was an Indian Bengali translator and poet from British India, who wrote in English and French. She is among the founding figures of Indo-Anglian literature, alongside Henry Louis Vivian Derozio (1809–1831), Manmohan Ghose (1869–1924), and Sarojini Naidu (1879–1949). She is known for her volumes of poetry in English, Sita, A Sheaf Gleaned in French Fields (1876) and Ancient Ballads and Legends of Hindustan (1882), and for a novel in French, Le Journal de Mademoiselle d'Arvers (1879). Her poems explore themes of loneliness, longing, patriotism and nostalgia. Dutt died at the age of 21 of tuberculosis.

Tristan Tzara, de son vrai nom Samuel Rosenstock, né le 16 avril 1896 à Moinești dans le royaume de Roumanie, et mort le 24 décembre 1963 dans le 7e arrondissement de Paris, est un écrivain, poète et essayiste de langues roumaine et française et l'un des fondateurs du mouvement Dada dont il sera par la suite le chef de file. Il est ainsi considéré, en France, comme l'un des principaux représentants de la littérature dada.

Tucídides ha sido considerado, por algunos autores, como el padre de la historiografía científica, debido a sus estrictos estándares de recopilación de pruebas y de sus análisis en términos de causa-efecto sin referencia a la intervención de dioses, tal y como él mismo subraya en su introducción a su obra.
