Ablabius is thought to be either an historian, a geographer or ethnographer, who had written about the Goths, and whose work is cited by the influential 6th century historian of the Goths, Jordanes. Since Jordanes himself states that he based his own work on recollections of reading a work on Gothic history, now lost, composed by Cassiodorus, Ablabius has traditionally been thought of as a source also for the latter work, though this view has met with considerable scepticism.

Uznawany bądź za osobę współczesną Kasjodorowi, nieco starszą, żyjącą nie później niż w III w., utożsamiany z konsulem z roku 331, Ablaviusem, bądź też z sofistą Ablabiosem z Galacji. Nie mógł jednak tworzyć później niż w roku 551.
Abol-Faraj Runi est né à Runé, l'un des hameaux de Neyshābour [réf. nécessaire], et mort en 1130. Abol-Faraj Runi est considéré comme un maître avéré de la poésie persane. Abolghasem Lahuti – perski i tadżycki poeta, przedstawiciel tzw. grupy socjalistycznej. W 1922 roku z powodów politycznych emigrował do ZSRR, gdzie dwa lata później wstąpił do Komunistycznej Partii Związku Radzieckiego. Uchodzi za założyciela tadżyckiej poezji radzieckiej. Jest autorem słów hymnu Tadżyckiej SRR.
Abolqāsem Lahūtī was an Iranian-Soviet poet and political activist who was active in Iran during the Persian Constitutional Revolution and in Tajikistan in the early Soviet era.
Abolqasem Lahouti, né le 12 octobre 1887 à Kermanshah – mort le 16 mars 1957 à Moscou, est un poète et militant politique iranien actif durant la Révolution constitutionnelle persane et au Tadjikistan au début de l’Union soviétique. Il est l’auteur de l’hymne de la République socialiste soviétique du Tadjikistan.
