Almas Ildyrym, born Ildyrym Almaszade, was an Azerbaijani poet. After the Bolsheviks established their power in Azerbaijan in 1920, the fact that Ildyrym had been born into a wealthy merchant family plagued him for the rest of his life. Though he was accepted to the faculty of Oriental Literature at Azerbaijan State University, it was not long before they dismissed him because of his family origins.
Abu Al-'Abbâs Muhammad Ibnu Yazid Ibnu Abd Al-Akbar, connu sous 'Al-Mubarrad' (المبرِّد), est un grammairien arabe. Après avoir étudié la grammaire à Bassora, il fut appelé à la cour du calife abbasside Djafar al-Mutawakkil al-Mutawakkil à Samarra en 860. Lorsque le calife fut tué en 861, il se rendit à Bagdad, où il passe presque toute sa vie à enseigner.
Al-Mubarrad (المبرد) (al-Mobarrad), or Abū al-‘Abbās Muḥammad ibn Yazīd, was a native of Baṣrah. He was a philologist, biographer and a leading grammarian of the School of Basra, a rival to the School of Kufa. In 860 he was called to the court of the Abbasid caliph al-Mutawakkil at Samarra. When the caliph was killed the following year, he went to Baghdād, and taught there until his death.
Al-Mubarrad (المبرد)[n 1] (al-Mobarrad),[2][3] o Abū al-‘Abbās Muḥammad ibn Yazīd, nativo de Basora, era un gran filólogo y biógrafo, gramático principal de la Escuela de Basora, rival a la Escuela de Kufa. En 860 fue llamado al tribunal del califa Abbasida al-Mutawakkil en Samarra. Cuándo el califa fue asesinado el año siguiente, se fue a Baghdād, y enseñó allí hasta su muerte.
María de la Almudena Grandes Hernández was a Spanish writer. Author of 14 novels and three short-story collections, her work has been translated into twenty languages and frequently adapted to film. She won the National Literature Prize for Narrative and the Prix Méditerranée among other honors. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez called her "one of the most important writers of our time."
María Almudena Grandes Hernández fue una escritora española, columnista habitual del diario El País. Galardonada con el Premio Nacional de Narrativa en 2018, la mayor parte de su obra trata de ahondar en la historia reciente de España para recuperar las huellas de un pasado oculto durante la dictadura de Francisco Franco y explicar las claves de la sociedad española de finales del siglo XX y primeras décadas del siglo XXI. Autora con gran vinculación cinematográfica, seis de sus obras fueron llevadas al cine y era patrona de honor de la Fundación Academia de Cine.
María Almudena Grandes Hernández è stata una scrittrice spagnola, nota al grande pubblico per il suo romanzo Le età di Lulù (1989), dal quale nel 1990 il regista Bigas Luna trasse l'omonimo film.
