Abraham Solomonick, also Avraham Solomonick, Abraham Salomonick is an Israeli scientist, philologist, semiotician and philosopher, and is the author of Hebrew-English and English-Hebrew dictionaries.

Abraham Sutzkever was an acclaimed Yiddish poet. The New York Times wrote that Sutzkever was "the greatest poet of the Holocaust."

Abraham ben Salomon Usque was a 16th-century publisher. Usque was born in Portugal to a Jewish family and fled the Portuguese Inquisition for Ferrara, Italy, around 1543.

Pedro Abraham Valdelomar Pinto was a Peruvian narrator, poet, journalist, essayist and dramatist; he is considered the founder of the avant-garde in Peru, although more for his dandy-like public poses and his founding of the journal Colónida than for his own writing, which is lyrically posmodernista rather than aggressively experimental. Like Charles Baudelaire in 19th century Paris, he claimed to have made his country aware for the first time of the relationship between poetry and the market, and to have recognized the need for the writer to turn himself into a celebrity.

Abraham Yerevantsi also known as Abraham of Yerevan was an 18th-century Armenian historian who lived in the late Safavid and early Afsharid era's. He is known for being the author of one work, which was edited later on, known variously as the History of the Persian king, The History of the Wars 1721-1736, or as the History of the Wars fought by the Ottomans over Armenian and Persian cities. The work contains valuable information on the Afghan invasion, the Ottoman-Persian Wars, Nader Shah's coronation at the Mugan plain, as well as of the defense by the local Armenians of the Yerevan Province against the Ottoman invasion in 1724. The work is located on the San Lazzaro degli Armeni. A copy of the edited version was brought to Soviet Armenia in 1928 and was published in 1938.

Abram Moiseyevich Deborin (Ioffe) was a Soviet Marxist philosopher and academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union (1929). Deborin oscillated between The Bolshevik and Menshevik factions of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party, before settling with the Bolsheviks and enjoying a long career as a philosopher in the Soviet Union. Although this career suffered under Stalin, he lived to see his works republished when the Soviet Union was led by Nikita Khrushchev.

Abram Fet was a Russian mathematician, Soviet dissident, philosopher, Samizdat translator and writer. He used various pseudonyms for Samizdat, like N. A. Klenov, A.B. Nazyvayev, D.A. Rassudin, S.T. Karneyev, etc. If published, his translations were usually issued under the name of A.I. Fedorov, which reproduced Fet's own initials and sometimes under the names of real people who agreed to publish Fet's translations under their names.

Abram Joseph Ryan was an American poet, Catholic priest, Catholic newspaper editor, orator, and former Vincentian. An active proponent of the helping both sides of the war - Norh and South. Many have said he was a priest for Confederate States of America but that was not shown in any military records, he has been called the "Poet-Priest of the South" and the "Poet Laureate of the Confederacy” which is an inaccurate description.
