Faustus of Byzantium was an Armenian historian of the 5th century. Faustus' History of the Armenians exists in four "books", beginning with Book 3 ("Beginning") and ending with Book 6 ("Ending"), which appears to be due to the work of a later editor of the surviving manuscript. The History describes events from the military, socio-cultural and political life of 4th-century Armenia. Pavstos describes in detail the reigns of Arsaces (Arshak) II and his son Papas (Pap), and portrays the Mamikonians as defenders par excellence of Armenia.
Fauziya Aukhadiyevna Bayramova is a Tatar politician and writer. She was a founder of the Tatarstan independence party The Ittifaq Party. From 1990 to 1995 she was a member of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. From 1994 to 1997 she was the chair of the Milli Majlis, the unrecognized Tatar parliament, which she helped to establish. She was also a contributor to the constitution of Tatarstan. She has written a number of political manifestos and histories, focusing on topics relating to the Tatar people and their political circumstances, and has worked as a journalist and publisher.

Fazil Abdulovich Iskander was a Soviet and Russian writer and poet known in the former Soviet Union for his descriptions of Caucasian life. He authored various stories, including "Zashita Chika", which features a crafty and likable young boy named "Chik", but is probably best known for the picaresque novel Sandro of Chegem and its sequel The Gospel According to Chegem.
Fażlu l-Lāh Astar-Ābādī, also known as Fażlullāh Tabrīzī Astarābādī by a pseudonym al-Ḥurūfī and a pen name Nāimī, was an Iranian mystic who founded the Ḥurūfī movement. The basic belief of the Ḥurūfiyyah was that the God was incarnated in the body of Fażlullāh and that he would appear as Mahdī when the Last Day was near in order to save Muslims, Christians and Jews. His followers first came from the village of Toqchi near Isfahan and from there, the fame of his small community spread throughout Khorasan, Iraq, Azerbaijan and Shirvan. The center of Fażlullāh Nāimī's influence was Baku and most of his followers came from Shirvan. Among his followers was the famous Ḥurūfī poet Seyyed Imadaddin Nasimi, one of the greatest Turkic mystical poets of the late 14th and early 15th centuries.
Fazu Aliyeva was an Avar-speaking Soviet-born Russian poet, novelist and journalist. She played a significant role in the development of Dagestani in Russian literature. She was also a human rights activist.
