G. Sankara Kurup, also referred to as Mahakavi G, was an Indian poet, essayist and literary critic of Malayalam literature. Known as one of the greats of Malayalam poetry, he was the first recipient of the Jnanpith Award―the highest Indian literary honor. He served as a nominated member of the Rajya Sabha from 1968 to 1972 and received the Padma Bhushan, the third highest Indian civilian award, in 1967. He was also a recipient of Sahitya Akademi Award, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award and Soviet Land Nehru Award.
Granville Stanley Hall was a pioneering American psychologist and educator who earned the first doctorate in psychology awarded in the United States of America at Harvard College in the nineteenth century. His interests focused on human life span development and evolutionary theory. Hall was the first president of the American Psychological Association and the first president of Clark University. A Review of General Psychology survey, published in 2002, ranked Hall as the 72nd most cited psychologist of the 20th century, in a tie with Lewis Terman.
G. Tyler Miller was the third President of James Madison University, serving from 1945 to 1971. Miller Hall on the JMU campus is named for him. He was an environmental science textbook writer.
Georgīĭ Vasilevich Forsten was a Finnish historian and professor at Saint Petersburg University in Russia. He was a specialist in the history of Scandinavia and the Baltic region and one of the founders of research into Scandinavian history in Russia. Later he turned to the Reformation and the history of humanism in Germany.
G. Wayne Miller is an American author, journalist and filmmaker. He is a faculty member at Salve Regina University's Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy, in Newport, Rhode Island, where he is co-founder and director of the Story in the Public Square program and co-host and co-producer of the national PBS/SiriusXM Radio show by the same name.
George William "Bill" Domhoff is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus and research professor of psychology and sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a founding faculty member of UCSC's Cowell College. He is best known as the author of several best-selling sociology books, including Who Rules America? and its seven subsequent editions.

She is most well known for relaunching the Ms. Marvel title for Marvel Comics starring a 16-year-old Muslim superhero named Kamala Khan. Her work is most often categorized as magical realism.
George Richard Wilson Knight (1897–1985) was an English literary critic and academic, known particularly for his interpretation of mythic content in literature, and The Wheel of Fire, a collection of essays on Shakespeare's plays. He was also an actor and theatrical director, and considered an outstanding lecturer.
Gabit Makhmutuli Musirepov was a Soviet Kazakh writer, playwright and author of libretto to Kazakh opera Kyz-Zhibek. He was awarded the People's Writer of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, served as President of the Kazakhstan Union of Writers, and was a member of the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences.
