Gene H. Bell-Villada is an American literary critic, novelist, translator and memoirist, with strong interests in Latin American Writing, Modernism, and Magic Realism. His works include The Carlos Chadwick Mystery: A Novel of College Life and Political Terror, the short story collection The Pianist Who Liked Ayn Rand, and the critical studies Art for Art's Sake and the Literary Life, Borges And His Fiction: A Guide To His Mind And Art and Garcia Marquez: The Man And His Work. He holds a doctorate from Harvard University and has been a professor at Williams College since 1975.

Mueller was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is considered an expert in two areas of history, American Nez Perce Indian Culture and 20th Century Europe, specifically Hitler's generals. He has published several books. He has taught at the Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho, Henderson State University at Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and Texas A&M University–Texarkana.
Gene Perret was an American comedy writer and producer. He won three Emmys for his work on The Carol Burnett Show. He worked for Bob Hope for 28 years. He wrote Hope’s television specials and USO Christmas tours. Perret died from liver failure on November 15, 2022, at the age of 85. He is interred at Valley Oaks Memorial Park.
Eugene Wesley Roddenberry Sr. was an American television screenwriter, producer, and creator of Star Trek: The Original Series, its sequel spin-off series Star Trek: The Animated Series, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Born in El Paso, Texas, Roddenberry grew up in Los Angeles, where his father was a police officer. Roddenberry flew 89 combat missions in the Army Air Forces during World War II and worked as a commercial pilot after the war. Later, he followed in his father's footsteps and joined the Los Angeles Police Department, where he also began to write scripts for television.

Gene Stratton-Porter, born Geneva Grace Stratton, was an American writer, nature photographer, and naturalist from Wabash County, Indiana. In 1917 Stratton-Porter urged legislative support for the conservation of Limberlost Swamp and other wetlands in Indiana. She was also a silent film-era producer who founded her own production company, Gene Stratton Porter Productions, in 1924.

He was a prolific short story writer and novelist, and won many literary awards. Wolfe has been called "the Melville of science fiction", and was honored as a Grand Master by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
