Hasan Kikić was a Bosnian literate and poet.

Hasan Tawfiq was an Egyptian poet, literary critic and journalist. He belongs to the third wave of the Arabic and Egyptian literary movement known as "The New Poetry." A major part of Tawfiq's poems consist of free verses. Tawfiq was known in the Arab world as a journalist and in Egypt he worked for some time as editor-in-chief of the Ar-Raya journal. Tawfiq wrote articles for the "Culture" section of the Qatar-based Ash-Sharq journal. The literary alias of Tawfiq is "Magnoon al-Arab." It derives from a Middle Eastern tragic love story, Majnun and Layla.

Syed Fazl-ul-Hasan, known by his pen-name Hasrat Mohani, was an Indian activist, freedom fighter in the Indian independence movement and a noted poet of the Urdu language. He coined the notable slogan Inquilab Zindabad in 1921. Together with Swami Kumaranand, he is regarded as the first person to demand complete independence for India in 1921 at the Ahmedabad Session of Congress. Maghfoor Ahmad Ajazi supported the complete independence motion demanded by Hasrat Mohani. He wrote the famous ghazal 'Chupke chupke raat din' which was picturised in a bollywood movie 'Nikaah' (1982) and sung by Gulam Ali.

Hassan Ibrahim Samoun (Arabic: حسن إبراهيم سمعون is a Syrian poet and publisher born 1956 in the countryside of Homs. Ibrahim start working in early age in the field of heavy engineering equipment and metal constructions. In 1978 he completed the educational stage in the technical college of motor mechanics, after that he studied Arabic literature at Al-Baath University. His poetic style combines simplicity and elegance in exploring themes of love and Syrian nationalism and Arab nationalism.
