Mette Ivie Harrison is an American novelist. She writes young adult fiction and in 2014 began publishing an adult mystery series. Her background as a Mormon has influenced her topics of interest as a writer, especially in the A Linda Wallheim Mystery series which focuses on a Mormon woman within her religious community. Her novel, Mira, Mirror won the Utah Letters About Literature award in 2006, and three other novels were finalists for the AML Awards in 2007, 2014 and 2015.

Mhlobo Wabantwana Jadezweni is a South African academic and author. He has degrees from the University of Fort Hare and Stellenbosch University. He has been attached to the Department of African Languages at Stellenbosch University since 1983, where he teaches Xhosa literature and language, and studies isiXhosa poetry. He has served on various Xhosa language boards since 1984 and is chairperson of the isiXhosa Lexicography Unit at Fort Hare.

Mia Tavonatti is an American artist and writer known for her large installation mosaics inspired by Renaissance imagery and contemporary sculptural abstracts. Tavonatti received first place at Art Prize in 2011 for her 9'w x 13'h stained glass mosaic Crucifixion and runner up in 2010 for her 7'h x 13'w mosaic Svelata. Tavonatti's work is personal and reflective of her own experiences, which she uses to serve as an inspiration for aspiring artists. Tavonatti attended California State University where she earned her Master of Fine Arts in illustration. Tavonatti started off her career illustrating children's books, many of which she authored herself, though her work extends over several mediums. On top of her work with glass mosaics and illustrations, Tavonatti has worked extensively with large installation murals and sculptures.
