Ramalingam "Rama" Chellappa is a Bloomberg Distinguished Professor, who works at Johns Hopkins University. He is the Chief Scientist of The Johns Hopkins Institute for Assured Autonomy, and joined Johns Hopkins University after 29 years at The University of Maryland. Before that, he was an assistant, associate professor, and later, director, of the University of Southern California's Signal and Image Processing institute.

Ramdhari Singh, known by his pen name Dinkar, was an Indian Hindi and Maithili language poet, essayist, freedom fighter, patriot and academic. He emerged as a poet of rebellion as a consequence of his nationalist poetry written in the days before Indian independence. His poetry exuded Veer Rasa, and he has been hailed as a Rashtrakavi and Yuga-Chāraṇa on account of his inspiring patriotic compositions. He was a regular poet of Hindi Kavi Sammelan and is hailed to be as popular and connected to poetry lovers for Hindi speakers as Pushkin for Russians.
Ramesh Chandra Shah is an Indian poet, novelist, critic and the author of Sahitya Academy Award winning novel, Vinayak. He was honoured by the Government of India in 2004 with Padma Shri, the fourth highest Indian civilian award.
Ramesh Thakur has served as Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and as Senior Vice Rector of the United Nations University. He is the Director of the Centre for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament at Australian National University and was the inaugural director at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. Thakur was a principal architect of the Responsibility to Protect doctrine. Thakur is the co-Convenor of the Asia-Pacific Leadership Network for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament, and has been a consultant to the governments of Australia and New Zealand on international security, arms control and disarmament. He was also a former fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation.

He is currently co-chair for energy and the environment at Singularity University.
Ramiro Pinilla (1923-2014) was a Spanish writer. He was born in Bilbao in 1923. He won the Premio Nadal in 1960 for his novel Las ciegas hormigas. He left the literary circuit for many years and did not emerge again until the 2000s, when he released his Basque trilogy of novels titled Verdes valles, Colinas rojas to great critical acclaim. He died in 2014.
