Rita Yakovlevna Rait-Kovaleva, born Chernomordik was a Soviet literary translator and writer, particularly known for her translations of J. D. Salinger and Kurt Vonnegut into Russian. Rait-Kovaleva's translation of The Catcher in the Rye achieved initial popularity amid novel's success among Soviet readers during Khrushchev Thaw.
Ritchie Perry is a British writer of spy and adventure crime fiction. He has also written novels under the name John Allen, as well as a book on Brazil and some books for children.

Ritchie Neil Ninian Robertson FBA is a British academic who was the Taylor Professor of German Language and Literature between 2010 and 2021. He was educated at Nairn Academy in the North of Scotland and at Edinburgh University, where he took two degrees, in English and German. He has been a Fellow of Queen's College, Oxford since 2010. He is a former Germanic Editor of The Modern Language Review. Professor Robertson co-directs the Oxford Kafka Research Centre with Carolin Duttlinger and Professor Katrin Kohl.
Ritwik Kumar Ghatak was a noted Indian film director, screenwriter and playwright. Along with prominent contemporary Bengali filmmakers like Satyajit Ray, Tapan Sinha and Mrinal Sen, his cinema is primarily remembered for its meticulous depiction of social reality, partition and feminism. He won the National Film Award's Rajat Kamal Award for Best Story in 1974 for his Jukti Takko Aar Gappo and Best Director's Award from Bangladesh Cine Journalist's Association for Titash Ekti Nadir Naam. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri for Arts in 1970.
Riva Castleman was an American art historian, art curator, and author who is credited with promoting the mediums of printmaking and illustrated books as serious forms of fine art. From 1976–95 she was Director of the Department of Prints and Illustrated Books at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan.
