Ulas Oleksiiovych Samchuk was a Ukrainian writer, propagandist, publicist, journalist, and a member of the Government of the Ukrainian People's Republic in exile. He was a member of the nationalistic Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, a Nazi collaborator, and noted antisemite.
Ulfat Idlibi was a Syrian novel writer. She wrote books that became best sellers in the Arabic-speaking world, such as "Dimashq ya Basimat el Huzn", which was translated into many languages and filmed as "Basimat al Huzn".
Ulla Bjerne-Biaudet, known as Ulla Bjerne, was a Swedish-born author who resided in Finland from 1922 onwards. She also wrote under the pen-names Ali Frost and Lars Doll.
