William Hayes Ward was an American clergyman, editor, and Orientalist.

William Hayley was an English writer, best known as the biographer of his friend William Cowper.

William Hendriksen was a New Testament scholar and writer of Bible commentaries. He was born in Tiel, Gelderland, but his family moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1911. Hendriksen studied at Calvin College and Calvin Theological Seminary before obtaining an S.T.D. degree from Pikes Peak Bible Seminary, as was typical for on-the-job pastors seeking doctorates in the 1930s and 1940s. It is there that he wrote the thesis More than Conquerors. This book has never gone off the market since it was privately printed and Herman Baker issued it as the first publication of the new Baker Book House in 1940. He received a Th.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary.

William Hendry Stowell (1800–1858) was a Manx nonconformist minister, college head, writer and periodical editor.

William Henry Babcock (1849–1922) was an American author and poet. He was born in 1849 in St. Louis, the son of Jonathan Wells Babcok and Catharine Babcock. In 1874 he married Ann Johns Earle, having at least 5 sons and 6 daughters. He died Washington, DC, in 1922.

William Henry Chamberlin was an American historian and journalist. He was the author of several books about the Cold War, communism, and foreign policy, including The Russian Revolution 1917-1921 (1935), which was written in Russia between 1922 and 1934 while he was the Moscow correspondent of The Christian Science Monitor.
