Yevgeny Yakovlevich Dzhugashvili was a Soviet Air Force colonel. He was the son of Yakov Dzhugashvili, the eldest son of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, and gained notice as a defender of his grandfather's reputation. In the 1999 elections of the Russian State Duma, he was one of the faces of the Stalin Bloc – For the USSR, a league of communist parties. He resided in Georgia, his grandfather's homeland. He was found dead close to his home in Moscow in December 2016.

Yevgeny Nikolayevich Edelson was a Russian literary critic, journalist, translator and philosopher, best known for his critical and philosophical essays published in Moskvityanin, Pyotr Boborykin-led Biblioteka Dlya Chteniya and Vsemirny Trud. Highly acclaimed were his translation of Gotthold Lessing's Laocoön and "Shchedrin and the New Satirical Literature", the first comprehensive analytical survey of Russian literary satire of the mid-19th century.

Yevgeny Iosifovich Gabrilovich was a Soviet and Russian writer, playwright and screenwriter. He wrote for 29 films between 1936 and 1988.

Yevgeny Mikhailovich Garshin was a Russian teacher, novelist, publisher, director of the Commercial College in Taganrog (1901), younger brother of the Russian writer Vsevolod Garshin.
