Abdul Muis – indonezyjski pisarz, dziennikarz i nacjonalista. Postulował niepodległość Indonezji od Holandii. Był także pierwszą osobą, którą prezydent Sukarno nazwał bohaterem narodowym.

Abul Ma'āni Mirzā Abdul-Qāder Bedil o Mawlānā Abul Ma'āni Abdul Qader Bedil, (1720-1642) fue un poeta y sufí nacido en Azimabad ; su familia perteneció a la tribu Uzbeko en Balh (Afganistán).
Abdul Rahman Mohmand, Paschtu:عبدالرحمان مومند, auch bekannt als Rahman Baba, رحمان بابا, war ein paschtunischer Sufi-Dichter des Ordens der Chishtiyya. Er war stark beeinflusst gewesen durch die persischen Sufis Indiens und Irans Seine in Paschtu geschriebenen Gedichte thematisieren neben ethischen Themen vor allem Liebe und Mystik.
Abdul Rahman Pazhwak was an Afghan poet and diplomat. He was educated in Afghanistan and started his career as a journalist, but eventually joined the foreign ministry. During the 1950s, he became ambassador to the United Nations and served as president of the UN General Assembly from 1966 to 1967. During the early 1970s, he served for short periods as Afghan ambassador to West Germany and India. In 1976, he became ambassador to the United Kingdom. He served in that position until the 1978 Saur Revolution. He then returned to Afghanistan and was put under house arrest. He was allowed to leave for medical treatment in 1982 and received asylum in the United States, where he lived until 1991, before moving to Peshawar, Pakistan. Abdul Rahman Pazhwak died in Hayatabad in Peshawar on 8 June 1995. He was in Baghwani village off Surkh Road in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan.

Abdul Rahman Pazhwak oli afganistanilainen runoilija ja diplomaatti. Hänet oli koulutettu Afganistanissa ja aloitti uransa journalistina, mutta liittyi lopulta ulkoministeriöön. 1950-luvulla hänestä tuli Afganistanin Yhdistyneiden kansakuntien suurlähettiläs ja toimi YK:n yleiskokouksen puheenjohtajana vuosina 1966-1967. 1970-luvun alussa hän toimi lyhyen ajanjaksona Afganistanin suurlähettiläänä Länsi-Saksassa ja Intiassa.
Abdul Rauf Benawa was an Afghan writer, poet, journalist, historian and social activist. One of his major works is a series of educational poems called "Sad Reflection" (1957). He died in exile in the United States.
