Elena Mikhaylovna Nikolaeva was a Soviet and Russian poet and translator. An alumnus of Petrozavodsk State University, she was a member of the Union of Soviet Writers.
Elena Oznobkina was a philosopher, theorist, historian of philosophy, lecturer, translator, editor, journalist, researcher of penitentiary systems, and Russian human rights activist. She is best known as a researcher of modern Western philosophy, a translator and editor of translations of Nietzsche and Husserl into Russian, a critic of the Russian penitentiary system, and the editor of the Russian edition of Index on Censorship magazine.
Elena Vyacheslavovna Perova is a Russian singer and musician, TV presenter, actress. She was a former member of the Russian musical groups Litsey (1991–1997) and Amega (1998–1999). She won the Golden Gramophone Award in 1996 and TEFI in 2008. Since 2013, she has been chief editor of the Department of Music and Entertainment Programs in Channel One Russia.

In 2021, the actress spoke about harassment at work. When she was 12 years old and working in a film, she was molested by the second director of the film. When she was 15 years old and she worked on the set of a film, a famous actor molested her and forced her to sleep with him and this lasted 2 years. And after her marriage to the director, the famous actor got angry, beat her and began spread unpleasant gossip about her to people.
Elena Moiseevna Rzhevskaya was a writer and former Soviet war interpreter. In April and May, 1945, she participated in the Battle of Berlin. According to her memoirs, called in English Memories of a War-time Interpreter, she was a member of the Soviet unit searching for Adolf Hitler in the ruins of the Reich Chancellery. Hitler's corpse was, according to her own words, found by soldier Ivan Churakov on 4 May 1945. Four days later, on 8 May, Colonel Vassily Gorbushin gave her a small box that contained Hitler's dental remains. During the identification of the corpse, the Soviet team worked in top-secret conditions. Rzhevskaya and Gorbushin managed to find in Berlin, Käthe Heusermann, an assistant of Hugo Blaschke, Hitler's personal dentist. Heusermann confirmed the identity of the Nazi leader. The information was, however, suppressed by Joseph Stalin, who later ordered the facts not to be publicized. She was a recipient of the Andrei Sakharov Prize for Writer's Civic Courage.
Elena Sergeevna Bulgakova was a Soviet author and intellectual. In collaboration with her husband, Mikhail Bulgakov, she participated in the writing of The Master and Margarita, a central work of Russian literature. Additionally, she is depicted in the novel as the character Margarita.
