Oleg Nikolayevich Smolin is a Russian politician. He is a State Duma deputy, as a member of the Communist Party. He is blind, and was the vice president of the Russian Paralympic committee.
Oleg Valeryevich Sokolov is a Russian convicted murderer and former historian who specialized in the Napoleonic era. In November 2019, he murdered, then subsequently dismembered and decapitated his 24-year-old mistress and former student Anastasia Yeshchenko. In December 2020, he was found guilty of intentional murder and sentenced to 12.5 years in high-security prison. He was a docent in history at Saint Petersburg State University until his dismissal.

He has been the lead singer of Manager & Rodina, Tsyganyata i Ya s Ilyicha, Anarkhiya and Armiya Vlasova. He is also cofounder of band Kommunizm. From 2002 to 2005 Sudakov was leader of the branch of the National Bolshevik Party in Novosibirsk.

He holds notable wins over Marco Ruas, Tank Abbott, Mark Kerr, and Anthony Macias. Taktarov is of mixed Mari and Russian background.
Oleg Ivanovich Yankovsky was a Soviet and Russian actor who excelled in psychologically sophisticated roles of modern intellectuals. In 1991, he became, together with Sofia Pilyavskaya, the last person to be named a People's Artist of the USSR.
Oleg Yermakov is a Russian writer. He was born in Smolensk in 1961, and worked in a forest reserve near Lake Baikal before doing his military service during the war in Afghanistan. His experiences formed the basis of an acclaimed collection of short stories, titled Afghan Stories (1991). He followed up with a novel, The Mark of the Beast (1994) which was nominated for the Russian Booker Prize. His war writing has been compared to that of Tolstoy and the literature of the Vietnam War.
Olegario Víctor Andrade (1839–1882) was an Argentine journalist, poet and politician, who was born in Brazil.
His daughter, Agustina Andrade, was also a poet.
