Vadim Vladimirovich Shtepa is a Russian philosopher, publicist, poet and analyst of Russian regions. Since 2015, he lives in Estonia, where he publishes analytical articles on Russian regions and politics.
Vadim Abramovich Sidur was a Ukrainian Soviet avant-garde sculptor and artist sometimes referred as the Soviet Henry Moore. Sidur is the creator of a style named Grob-Art (Coffin-Art). He also left a book of poetry The Happiest Autumn and a memoir Monuments to the Current State.

A personal friend of François Mitterrand, Willy Brandt and Giorgio Napolitano, Zagladin was the theorist of a reformed communism that would be very close to European social democracy.
Vadym Petrovych Hetman was a Ukrainian statesman, politician, and banker. He is credited with the creation of the National Bank of Ukraine, Ukraine's central bank. He was assassinated in April 1998 in his home in Kyiv. According to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, the crime was paid for by former Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Lazarenko. He was posthumously conferred the title of Hero of Ukraine on 11 July 2005.
